4/26/20 Keeko

Keeko
Tangle Authors: Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas

Materials needed for this lesson: Pencil and piece of paper (I divided a sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch piece of plain white paper into fourths by folding it in half lengthwise and then folding it in half again width-wise. I drew my tangle on one-fourth of the paper.)

Step 1: Draw a grid by drawing vertical parallel lines about one-half of an inch apart. Turn the paper 90 degrees and draw vertical parallel lines about one-half of an inch apart.
Step 2: Draw vertical parallel lines in every other square.
Step 3: Turn the paper and draw parallel lines in the remaining squares.

Step 4: Use a pencil to shade along each vertical line and each horizontal line.
Terri created this 3.5 inch square Zentangle Tile by drawing the tangles Keeko and Aura-Leah. She used a blue and a black Sakura pen to draw the tangles. She used a pencil for shading and a white gel pen for highlights. Notice that Terri drew a curve in some of her Keeko.
Ellen created this zentangle tile by drawing variations of Keeko with a black Sharpie and shading it with a pencil.
Ellen created this zentangle tile by drawing the tangles Printemps, Rain, Crescent Moon and variations of Keeko.
Ellen divided a piece of 8.5" x 11" sheet of white paper into 4 sections then drew variations of Keeko in each section.

Ellen created this Coronavirus Thank You Note Template.(To print it, drag it to your photos and print it from there.)
Ellen drew Keeko behind the hearts and medical staff, She created a frame around them by drawing the tangle, Diva Dance: Waltz. She completed the note with colored pencils.
