Huggins
Tangle Authors: Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas
Materials needed for this lesson: Pencil, black marker and piece of paper (I divided a sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch piece of plain white paper into fourths by folding it in half lengthwise and then folding it in half again width-wise. I drew my tangle on one-fourth of the paper.)
NOTE: There are 4 videos for drawing Huggins. Don't let this bother you! Each video is only about a minute long!

Ellen created this tile. She shaded it only in one direction which makes it look like a weaving.
Ellen created this tile. The tangles and design are similar to the tile above it. What is different is that Ellen used two different colored markers; black for the outlines and brown for Doo-Dah and Mooka.
This tile drawn by Ellen contains variations of Huggins and Mooka.
Ellen created these two tiles containing the tangles: Huggins, Vitruvious and Sedgling. In the tile on the left Ellen used colored markers to draw variations of the tangle, Sedgling.
Ellen created these two tiles. In the tile on the left, she colored the background of Vitruvious in black. She shaded in the tile on the right.
Ellen created this tile with the tangles Huggins, Doo-Dah and Mooka. She used a black marker for Huggins and drew the grid circles large enough to contain a line so that the circles resemble screws. Ellen drew Mooka and Doo-Dah inside the Huggins.
