Rick's Paradox Tangle

Rick's Paradox

Tangle AuthorsRick Roberts and Maria Thomas

Materials needed for this lesson: Pencil and piece of paper (I divided a sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch piece of plain white paper into fourths by folding it in half lengthwise and then folding it in half again width-wise. I drew my tangle on one-fourth of the paper.)

This tile contains both the "twist" version of Paradox, and the "shield" version of Paradox.

Terri's tile looks so much better matted and framed in a blank greeting card!

How many variations of Rick's Paradox can you find in this tile? (This tile was photocopied in order to create the next two tiles.)

I added shading to one of the photocopies,

and color using Sharpie markers to the other.
