4/13//2020 Rain Tangle

Rain

Tangle Authors: Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas

Materials needed for this lesson: Pencil and piece of paper (I divided a sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch piece of plain white paper into fourths by folding it in half lengthwise and then folding it in half again width-wise. I drew my tangle on one-fourth of the paper.)
Video Instructions for drawing the Rain Tangle
Terri's version of Rain drawn on a 3.5 inch square Zentangle tile. She used a brown Sakura Micron pen to fill in the triangles and a black Sakura Micron pen to draw the outlines.(Check out www.zentangle.com for official zentangle materials.)
Terri created this 3.5 inch square Zentangle tile by drawing several tangles: Rain, Printemps, Fescue and Zinger. She used a blue and a black Sakura Micron pen to draw the tangles and a pencil and a white gel pen for shading and highlighting.
Ellen drew these examples of Rain. She drew large triangles in Number 1, small triangles in Number 2, and a combination of large and small triangles in Number 3.
Ellen drew Rain with a partial outline and without an outline.
Ellen's completed paper.
Ellen used little orbs to create part of the outline for her Rain. She also made some overlapping Rains.
More of Ellen's variations of Rain.
