4/10/20 Printemps Tangle

Printemps

Tangle Authors: Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas

Materials Needed for the Lesson: Pencil and piece of paper (I divided a sheet of 8.5 inch by 11 inch piece of plain white paper into four parts by folding the paper in half lengthwise and then in half widthwise. I drew my tangle in one section of the paper.)
 Video Instructions for Printemps

Printemps is created by drawing spirals. Each spiral can be drawn clockwise, or counter-clockwise: small or large; tight or loose. Variety is wonderful!
Video Instructions for shading Printemps

Use your pencil to shade in the parts of the spirals that  are in shadow.
Compare the top and bottom drawings. The top one is not shaded. The bottom one is.

Ellen's version of Printemps with distorted spirals, weighted lines, and sparkles.
These spirals overlap each other! Doesn't that result in a totally different look for Printemps.

Different colored gel pens.
