Fescue

Materials needed for this lesson: Pencil and piece of paper (I divided a sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch piece of plain white paper into fourths by folding it in half lengthwise and then folding it in half again width-wise. I drew my tangle on one-fourth of the paper.)

Ellen used a pencil to add shading to the Fescue.

Terri drew Fescue around a center shape.

Ellen drew Fescue around a single Printemps.

Ellen used a pencil to add shading to the Fescue and a black fine-point Sharpie marker to add weight to the "frame" around the Fescue.

Variations of Fescue drawn on a grid

Terri used a tan 3.5 inch square paper and a red Sakura marker to create this variation of Fescue on a grid.

Ellen drew some circles on her paper and then she drew a grid inside each circle. In the sections of each circle, she drew variations of Fescue. She completed her tile by using a pencil to shade the overlapping sections of the circles and the area outside the circles.

 Ellen created this 5" x 7" blank card by creating the flowers with watercolor paint, drawing the stems and fescue with a black Sakura marker and then adding gel pen accents.
